But the story behind why I do this work matters as much as the credentials.

For nearly a decade I worked as an advocate and educator in the clean beauty space — helping women better understand the connection between the products they use every day and their long-term health. That work took me into rooms with scientists, researchers, and policy experts. It took me to Sacramento and Washington DC. And it introduced me to the larger conversation around cosmetic safety, endocrine-disrupting chemicals, and the ways our everyday environments quietly shape our wellbeing over time.

During those years, I focused primarily on women of childbearing age — helping them connect the dots between everyday chemical exposures and the health challenges they were facing, including infertility. As a mother of two daughters, that work felt deeply personal.

Then in 2022, I attended a science symposium in Washington DC focused on endocrine disrupting chemicals. During one discussion, a group of scientists and environmental health experts described menopause as a “window of susceptibility” — a period of significant hormonal transition when the body may be more vulnerable to the effects of endocrine disrupting chemicals.

I was going through menopause myself at the time.

I had spent years learning about chemical exposures and wellness. And somehow, nobody had clearly connected those dots for me before.

That moment shifted something.

I came home and started studying more deeply — not just menopause itself, but the broader relationship between hormones, environment, stress, skincare, nutrition, aging, and overall wellbeing in midlife. I enrolled in a certification program focused on environmental health and hormonal health because I wanted more context, more nuance, and a better understanding of what women in this stage of life are actually navigating.

That’s really where It May Be Menopause began.

What I Believe

I don’t think midlife needs to be fixed. I think it needs to be understood.

Aging is a gift — and I’m here for it. But navigating it well requires paying closer attention than most of us were ever taught to.

Not just to symptoms — but to stress, nourishment, skincare, environment, nervous system health, relationships, rhythms, and the way we move through our daily lives.

I believe wellness is cumulative. Shaped slowly by what we consume, what we normalize, what we’re exposed to, and how supported our bodies feel over time.

This work isn’t about fighting your body harder. It’s about learning how to support yourself more thoughtfully in this chapter of life.

What I do Now

Today my work centers on midlife wellness, healthy aging, clean living, holistic skincare, and intentional lifestyle support — with a particular focus on helping women navigate this season of life with more clarity, calm, and connection.

I share information, perspective, and products I genuinely trust so women can make choices that feel supportive, realistic, and aligned with the life they want to create.

But more than anything, I hope this work helps women feel less overwhelmed by wellness culture and more connected to themselves.

I’m also still learning alongside you — from the scientists and experts I’ve had the privilege of learning from, from the women in my community who openly share their experiences, and from my own life, which continues to teach me things I never expected.

Why this Space Exists

It May Be Menopause is meant to feel like a calm place to land.

Not a program. Not a prescription. Not another list of things you should be doing differently.

Just an honest conversation about what’s happening in our bodies, how modern life impacts our wellbeing, what the research actually says, and how to make sense of it all without fear or overwhelm.

Because midlife isn’t just about hormones.

It’s an invitation to pay closer attention to how we live, what supports us, and what this next chapter is asking from us.

A Simple Invitation

If you’re navigating midlife and looking for:

Clear, grounded information

A calmer approach to wellness

Healthy aging without fear or extremes

Support without pressure

You’re in the right place.
