It\u2019s a global campaign to raise awareness about single-use plastics &amp; to learn ways to reduce their use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I love doing this challenge every year because it forces me to pay attention to single-use plastics in my life &amp; to kick-start better habits.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Single-use plastic is one of those things that impacts not only our planet, but our health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right now, about 91% of our plastics are not recycled &amp; plastic doesn\u2019t go away. It just breaks down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ultimately, it ends up in our waterways + our food &#8211; which is why we all have micro-plastics in our bodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Endocrine-disrupting chemicals found in plastics contribute to our health &#8211; especially during perimenopause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If you\u2019ve been wanting to find ways to reduce your use of plastics, this is a great way to do it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can join the campaign directly.
